The ECAM Forum and Conecta Fiction & Entertainment have announced an exciting new partnership to host a delegation of international industry professionals at their upcoming events this June in Spain. This collaboration aims to support emerging talent and enhance connections within the global audiovisual sector.
Conecta Fiction & Entertainment, one of Europe’s premier co-production markets for television and entertainment, will hold its ninth edition from June 16 to 19 in Cuenca, Castilla-La Mancha. This year, the event will spotlight France and Canada, two key players in the global content creation industry. With the support of the Institut Français d’Espagne, the event will embrace the “Francia está en Pantalla” (France on Screen) initiative, continuing Conecta’s commitment to fostering cross-border creative partnerships.
Meanwhile, the ECAM Forum, the international co-production market led by Madrid’s renowned film school ECAM, will hold its second edition from June 10 to 13 at the Matadero in Madrid. Focused on amplifying emerging voices in audiovisual storytelling, ECAM Forum will expand its series section through this new partnership with Conecta Fiction & Entertainment.
Together, both events will host a shared delegation of French executives from networks, distributors, and production companies, all with a strong international profile. The partnership is further supported by the Institut Français d’Espagne, reinforcing its mission to promote cultural exchange between France and Spain.
Alba Wystraëte, manager of ECAM, highlighted the significance of the collaboration, stating, “Promoting collaborations and synergies like this is one of our core goals. It’s a natural fit for ECAM to partner with Conecta and the French Institute of Spain to help internationalize projects and boost the global potential of both events.”
Géraldine Gonard, director of Conecta Fiction & Entertainment, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, saying, “This collaboration is especially exciting because it unites our efforts to support emerging talent that will shape the future of content and the audiovisual industry.”
